ESSENTIALS

Eternal Eternal Riders is a biblical based organization.  Therefore we find it appropriate to share with you  our statement of faith which we call the “ESSENTIALS”

 OUR GOD
Our God is the creator of the universe—infinite and personal.   He is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, which we call the Trinity.  Our God does not reside in buildings made by man, but in hearts that welcome and trust in Him.

THE SON
Jesus is the Son of God.  He was born of the Virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit, and was fully man yet fully God.  He came to destroy the works of satan by laying down is own life as a ransom for us.  Death could not hold Him down, because He defeated the power of sin.  The Son paid the fine with His own life in order that mankind may be reconciled to God our Father, and was resurrected by the power of God.  Jesus’ gift of eternal life is for all who  confess Him as Lord and believe in their hearts that He rose again.

SIN
Sin, in its basic form, is not trusting in God.  If we are honest with ourselves, at one point or another this was a reality for us.  No matter how you define it, all sin leads to death—eternal separation from God the Father.

HELL
Just as cold is simply the absence of heat or darkness is the absence of light, hell is a place where God is absent.  God never intended for humans to go to hell, yet when we refuse God, therefore writing our own destiny, we choose to separate ourselves from God eternally.

HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity.  He is not a lesser god but fully God in the person of the Holy Spirit, given as a helper to guide us in all truth.

THE BIBLE
The Bible is the living Word of God.  Why?

#1 The Bible claims to be the Word of God. ( 1 Timothy 3:16, 2Peter 1:20-22)

#2 It is reliable, not dealing with mythology but proven historical and archeological facts.

#3 The bible reveals God’s character and has transformed and continues to transform the lives of people across the globe, with real testimonies.

MAN KIND
Although created in God’s image, all men have sinned and disobeyed God. Man is an eternal being, appointed to one life, subject to judgement, and will either inherit eternal life or eternal death (separation from God).

THE CHURCH
Church is not a building, but rather a gathering together.  It is not the ocean, the mountains or any created thing.  The Church is, however, people assembling and celebrating their love for God.  “Where two or three are gather in My name there I will be” Matthew 18:20. 

 SALVATION/ SAVED/BORN AGAIN
Salvation is being delivered from the power and penalty of sin.  Offered to all mankind, Salvation is a gift that cannot be earned.  It is only through believing in His Son Jesus Christ that you will receive salvation.  For there is no other name by which man can be saved.  “Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
